The La Verne Heritage Foundation and the City of La Verne jointly host this great Summer Concerts in the Park series.  This year brings new bands and a new line up!  Opening on June 27th is the local band By His Grace performing a mixture of Jazz and Classic Rock and to finish out the series the favorite Classic Rock group The Answer with their exciting light show.  Bring your own blankets and/or lawn chairs and enjoy this wonderful variety of music under the stars for FREE!  If any individual or business is interested in sponsoring a concert for the 2010 season, please call Chad Peterson at The City of La Verne Parks and Community Services offices (909) 596-8700 or Robin Molina at The La Verne Heritage Foundation (909) 593-2862.

During the concert plan to enjoy great food and beverages provided from the vendors.  Popcorn King offers hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and shaved ice, Red Devil Pizza brings whole pizzas or by the slice, along with funnel cakes, cotton candy and pretzels from Sam’s Deli.  Great raffle prizes are also part of the fun.

Concert series will begin at 6:30 PM on Sunday, June 27.  All concerts are held at Heritage Park, 5001 Via De Mansion, east of Wheeler and north of Baseline.  The entire line-up features the following:
